2006Warner Mendenhall has:

Won a $3.1 million dollar Eminent Domain case against the University of Akron. You can listen to the radio report of the verdict here.

Filed suit on behalf of local whistleblowers who exposed the misuse of federal dollars in grant programs, military contracting, medicare, and medicaid.

Represented hundreds of individuals and families obtain debt relief from creditors.   This includes, assistance to deal with predatory lending, bankruptcies, foreclosures, identity theft, and credit renegotiation.

Defended campaign finance reforms passed by Akron voters.   He helped to win a victory at the U.S. 6th Circuit Court of Appeals in Cincinnati Ohio in Frank v. City of Akron.  The
Court found that $100 per election is a permissable limit.  The Court also found that money is property not speech.

Supported and helped develop the legal language for local clean money election reforms in the City of Akron.

Filed a Freedom of Information Act case against the U.S. EPA, DOE, and Military to force them to reveal documentation of illegal radioactive dumping in Uniontown, Ohio. Coleridge v. U.S. Army, ND of Ohio.

Served two terms on Akron City Council where he challenged
the legality and constitutionality of City Council's actions, even when faced with overwhelming opposition by entrenched politicians.

Successfully challenged the validity of City of Twinsburg's zoning code and recovered attorneys fees from the City incurred by his client. Gaydosh v. City of Twinsburg, Summit County.

Fought on behalf of neighborhood activists to preserve the quality of life in neighborhoods.
